Trauma, especially in childhood, can have a devastating long-term impact on a person's mental and physical wellbeing.

The Arukah Project aims to raise awareness of trauma associated with adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and toxic stress and how it impacts adulthood.  We offer our time, expertise and therapeutic skills to help individuals process and reduce trauma, anxiety and stress.

The Arukah Project is a not-for-profit social impact enterprise.  We offer a range of services designed to support communities and individuals by providing an emotional health and safety framework that includes educational awareness of toxic stress and ACEs, integration of trauma informed practice, teaching of simple but highly effective self-help management techniques and dedicated 1-to-1 interventions with our experienced and qualified practitioners.

 THE Arukah Project

Tapping into Transformation

Almost the entire prison population has experienced mental health problems, homelessness, suffered abuse or violence as a child, been addicted to drugs, or grown up in care.

Our mission is to support people to make a positive difference to their lives. We do this by helping them to manage their emotional responses to challenging situations.
